2. What we collect

Through the free sample form on this website we collect:

your website URL
your email address
a short description of your business (optional)
your city (optional)

When you submit the form, your email application opens a message addressed to hello@purabrief.com that contains these details. You choose whether to send it. The website itself does not store the form contents.

to produce and send you the free sample brief
to reply to your enquiries

4. Legal basis

We use your details to send you the free sample brief you asked for and to reply to your enquiries. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and UK GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR).

5. How long we keep it

We keep sample request details for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep billing records for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.

6. Who else handles your data

We use service providers to run the website and to send and receive email. They process data on our behalf and only for those purposes. These are, in general terms, a website hosting provider, an email provider and an analytics provider (Google).

This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google.

7. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. This information is transmitted to Google and processed on our behalf.

We set analytics cookies only after you accept them in the banner on this site. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you
have inaccurate data corrected
have your data erased
restrict or object to our use of your data
receive your data in a portable format
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

9. Complaints

You have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
